This decoder has gigantic dimensions of 18 x 14mm and weighs 2 grams!! It is suitable for up to 15.5 volts
All digital functions adjustable like standard Carrera decoders - including Ghostcar and SafetyCar mode possible
3 slots for front light, brake light, tail light (separate connection, so 4 rear lights)
Only equipped on one side, the underside is smooth and the MIni decoder can be fixed in the model with glue or double-sided adhesive tape.
Everything in German SMD quality, assembled here in the Nuremberg region, no more annoyingly tall electrolytic capacitor like with Carrera, so like with many conversions, you no longer have to saw off the legs of the driver figure

The decoder SCD 2022 is a newly developed product with a very small size.
It is not a successor to the SCD 1044, which will continue to be offered.
With this decoder we have created the opportunity to realize projects that have so far
could not yet be implemented or could only be implemented with difficulty.
The technical specifications (maximum power consumption, light control, etc.) have also been modified.
Due to miniaturization, different components had to be used than for the SCD 1044.
This results in a somewhat more aggressive engine response on the hardware side.
On the software side, the motor control is identical to that of the SCD 1044 and was deliberately not changed.
A different software control of the motor was and is not planned.
Basically, it is recommended to always use one type of decoder for racing series and not to mix them.
This means you always get the same response, the same functions and an identical weight.
